USPEER Heads to Asia After Career High, Confirming August Japan and Taiwan Schedule
USPEER will begin overseas promotions in August after achieving a career high with BITE DISTRICT, visiting Saitama and Tokyo from August 7 to 9 and holding their first Taipei fan meeting on August 23.
USPEER is expanding its activities to Japan and Taiwan on the back of its latest domestic comeback results. The group will hold promotions in Saitama and Tokyo, Japan, from August 7 to 9, followed by its first fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, on August 23. After recording a career high with its first mini album, "BITE DISTRICT," in June, USPEER is moving into a schedule built around direct meetings with overseas fans.
USPEER will begin full-scale overseas activities in August. According to multiple reports, the group announced its Japan promotion and Taiwan fan meeting schedule through official social media and agency MW Entertainment. After returning on June 17 with its first mini album, "BITE DISTRICT," and continuing promotions for the title track "WICKED GAME," the group has now confirmed its first official schedule to meet fans in Asia.
First, USPEER will visit Saitama and Tokyo in Japan from August 7 to 9. The local promotions are expected to include a mini live performance and fan signing event, while some reports said interviews with local media are also scheduled. This can be seen as an early contact point for introducing the team in the Japanese market, rather than simply a one-time visit.
On August 23, the group will then hold its first fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, titled "2026 USPEER FANMEETING 'My Buddy' in Taipei." The title "My Buddy" was introduced as carrying the meaning of a close friend, and the fan meeting will be held across two sessions. Since it marks USPEER's first official meeting with fans in Taiwan, the schedule carries significance as a way to broaden fandom contact points.
The overseas schedule is connected to the group's recent domestic results. USPEER returned after about a year with "BITE DISTRICT" and is currently promoting "WICKED GAME." JoyNews24 reported that the album recorded more than 52,000 copies in first-week sales based on Hanteo Chart data, setting the group's own best record. Other reports also commonly mentioned the career-high first-week sales and album chart No. 1 results.
However, it is still too early to interpret these results as long-term stability in overseas markets. Local fan response, additional promotions, and album and content consumption indicators after the Japan and Taiwan schedules will need to be reviewed together. At the current stage, the key confirmed point is that USPEER has begun direct fan-facing activities in Asia based on the indicators from its domestic comeback.
Through reports, the members said they are excited because these will be their first official opportunities to meet local fans, and that they are preparing to create meaningful time together. USPEER is also scheduled to appear on SBS Life's "The Show" at 6 p.m. on July 14, suggesting that the group will continue its post-comeback momentum by combining domestic broadcast activities with overseas promotions.
For rookie and mid-stage K-pop groups, overseas activity is less a simple expansion than a process of checking the actual scale and response of the fandom. USPEER's Japan and Taiwan schedule is likely to become a first test of how the domestic growth signals created after "BITE DISTRICT" can connect to overseas contact points.
